King’s has recently further strengthened the collaboration with Mintek Comminution Division, a South Africa's national mineral research organisation. Through strengthened collaboration with Mintek Comminution Division, Mintek will use King’s MineMate® ceramic grinding media in its laboratory experiment and plant pilot to establish benchmark on ultra fine grinding for customers. This once again demonstrate that king’s not only has the ability of producing high quality product but also developing customized grinding media to customers to meet its ultra fine grinding requirements.
Mintek is one of the world’s leading technology organisations specialising in mineral processing, extractive metallurgy and related areas. Working closely with industry and other R&D institutions, Mintek has been an influential organisation in South African as well as in the world. King’s Ceramics started to collaboration with Mintek ever since 2004, the very early stage of ultra fine grinding technology was introduced into mining industry in South Africa.
